Feedback
Three professionals in senior roles were asked to thoroughly review this website and offer feedback for the purposes of CCHE 690. Reviewers were asked to offer suggestions with focus on four key areas: ease of navigation, visual appeal, usefulness and their overall impressions of the website. Next to their suggestions (in boldface) I included action that was taken or the reason it was not in parentheses with my initials.
All reviewers approved the use of their name, photo and title on this page and understand that once the page is evaluated, it will be removed.

The site is clean and easy to use. Links tabs are what they say they are, which is always welcome! All links were fully functional. The layout was complete, I liked not having to rabbit hole to find the information. The video introduction loaded easily and was active and engaging without being obnoxious. Suggestion: 1. The program design is a short paragraph. While it gives me the information that I need, I would perhaps like a deeper diver on the program. (ES: Added a bit more descriptive content)
Visual Appeal
The colors and contrasts kept me visually engaged. The photo galleries were diverse. I liked how you identified what each photo was versus a collage of images.
Suggestion:
1. The Night of the Open Door video ends, but another begins right away that had nothing to do with events. (ES: Since this is a YouTube channel that is handled by Thunderbird's marketing department, I have little control of how it is operated. Although I will confirm there is an opportunity to close or prevent the next video from starting and there is about 10 seconds to do so. Luckily a Thunderbird-related video plays which gives the school additional promotion versus an inappropriate or off topic video)
Usefulness
The site is useful for a first look at the development of the idea of an event related degree program at Arizona State University. Your resume and letter of intent were relevant, current and gave me a good understanding of your goals.

Navigation
Navigation was easy and all links worked perfectly. The layout made sense and was easy to follow.
Suggestions:
1. Put tabs to: Articles, Thinking outside the box and Statement Paper and Social Media Links at the top with drop downs for each with their sub tabs for quick references. (ES: Unfortunately this free version of the website only allows a maximum of three (3) header pages)
2. Consider bold facing the first paragraph or making it stand out more in some way – that is an impactful paragraph that grabs attention. (ES: Change made)
Visual Appeal
Dynamic and appealing color scheme. The opening sunset photo provided a good reference to a festival event while being subtle, intriguing and calming. I loved the photos for Globalization and Innovation. They were very enticing to click and learn more and good theories behind Special Events adding benefit to these areas for colleges.
Suggestions:
1. The “learn more” tab under Statement Paper seems to be a bit awkwardly placed, perhaps move it up or below the photos. (ES: Button margins adjusted so it appears closer to the introduction, it is not floating in space)
2. All photos may “pop” more with darker boarders around them. (ES: All photos on the home page and feedback page received a museum quality frame around them for increased visibility and consistency)
3. The Photo Gallery had great photo choices with a good variety, but they were a bit confusing to follow with all the descriptions below, maybe the captions appear below the photo once you click on it and the photos in the gallery are larger - or do row one, then captions below, then row two of photos below row one captions, etc. (ES: captions were enlarged and additional space was added between lines for clarity)
Usefulness
All items were relevant and useful. It was easy to get a good understanding of Erin’s background and experience and why she is qualified to build programs for Colleges in the Event Planning field. I was pleased to see photos, videos and her written resume were all used as resources for those that would prefer one medium over another. The Video titled “Video Introduction” is great. It was interactive and informative. Erin had a great speaking pace that matched up perfectly with the video and a great sound bed. In addition, her endorsements are a great touch. They build trust in the person immediately before checking references.
Suggestion:
1. The sound bed under the Media Project video is good, but a bit loud, I found it challenging to focus on what Erin was saying. (ES: Both videos that were added to the site were adjusted to offer an appropriate sound level)

Navigation
Very nice, easy to navigate, links are easy to find and working.
Suggestions:
1. The only exception is the "learn more" Powtoon media project on Powtoon. I tried two times and it never opened. (ES: since it is a large file, you do have to wait a minute or two, unfortunately I cannot speed up the process and hope people do not skip past it)
Visual Appeal
Very bright and fun, I like the font size and the layout.
Usefulness
The information was useful and helped me get a better understanding of your background, goals and strengths. It was helpful to review the articles and infographic to learn more about your employability. The social media links also gave me a good idea of your professionalism and network that you surround yourself with.
Suggestion:
1. You mentioned in the top bio that you have been in events for 19 years, but in the first paper it states 16. You may want to make them more consistent. (ES: Yes, this is accurate, the paper was written in one of my first classes in the CCHE program and now it has been two years later going on my 19th year)
