Thunderbird School of Global Management, a unit of the ASU Knowledge Enterprise has offered four MOOC courses through edX since 2017 towards a MicroMasters in International Business Management. Thunderbird hoped to break into this market to increase brand awareness and profit from world-class business courses through conversion to in-person enrollment. However, marketing the program has proved to be a challenge and it will take all stakeholders to come together to achieve their desired outcomes.
